Tutor Platform

AI tutor

An AI ground instructor that shows its sources.

Ask anything you’re studying for the FAA knowledge test, in plain language, any time. Answers come from the official FAA handbooks, the AIM, and the regulations, with the page cited so you can check every claim.

How it works

Searches the FAA library first
Before answering, the tutor searches the FAA handbooks, the AIM, advisory circulars, and 14 CFR for the passages that cover your question.
Cites the exact page
Every factual claim links to its source and page number, so you can read the original and check it.
Knows the ACS
It looks up ACS codes and tasks to explain what the FAA expects you to know, and how a topic is tested.
Knows your study plan
Signed in, it can see the topics you are working on and the codes you missed, and quiz you on them.

Things students ask

  • “Explain density altitude and how it changes takeoff distance.”
  • “What are the weather minimums for Class E airspace below 10,000 feet?”
  • “How do I read a METAR? Walk me through KDEN 121853Z 27015G25KT 10SM FEW080 23/M02 A3002.”
  • “What does PA.I.E.K1 cover, and what will the examiner ask about it?”
  • “Where is ADS-B Out required?”
  • “Quiz me on Part 107 operating limitations.”
  • “Why does a stall happen at the same angle of attack regardless of airspeed?”
  • “What inspections does an aircraft need to be airworthy for a VFR flight?”

Part of your study program

Learn the material in a ground school course, then use the tutor whenever a topic doesn’t click. Your study program tracks every ACS topic on your test, with practice questions and mock exams to prove you’ve mastered each one. After the test, add your knowledge test report and the tutor helps you prepare for the questions your examiner will ask.

Free to use, honest about limits

A free account includes 25 AI requests a day; Pro raises that to 400. The tutor is grounded in FAA text, but AI can still be wrong: check the cited page, and confirm with your instructor. It is a study aid, not a substitute for flight or ground instruction.
