Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Tutor Platform and its products, including KTR Helper (“the service”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to them.

1. What the service is

KTR Helper is a study aid for FAA airman knowledge tests. It decodes Airman Knowledge Test Report (KTR) codes, presents material from official FAA publications, and offers AI-generated explanations, practice questions, and tutoring. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a substitute for the Federal Aviation Administration.

2. Not flight instruction or operational guidance

Content is provided for study only. FAA publications change, and AI output can be wrong or incomplete. Always verify against the current official publications and with an authorized instructor. Nothing in the service is an instructor endorsement, a logbook entry, or approval to act as pilot in command or to perform maintenance. Practice and mock-test scores do not predict FAA test results.

3. Your account

You must provide a valid email address and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity on your account. You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.

4. Acceptable use

• Do not misuse the service, attempt to break its security, or interfere with other users.
• Do not create accounts in bulk or use automation to get around daily AI limits.
• Do not use the service to obtain or share actual FAA test questions in violation of FAA testing rules.
• Share links you create are your responsibility; anyone with the link can view the shared report.

5. Plans, billing, and cancellation

The Free plan includes a daily AI allowance. The Pro plan is a subscription billed in advance monthly or yearly through Stripe and renews automatically until canceled. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal; Pro remains active until the end of the paid period and is not prorated. If you are charged in error or unhappy with your first Pro payment, contact us at contact@email.hickshost.com within 14 days and we will review a refund. Prices may change with at least 30 days’ notice before your next renewal. Deleting your account cancels any subscription immediately.

6. AI limits and availability

Daily AI allowances are listed on the pricing page. We may adjust allowances, models, or features, and the service may occasionally be unavailable. We do not guarantee any particular uptime.

7. Content

FAA publications are public works of the U.S. government. Study notes and practice questions generated by the service are shared with other users to keep costs down; they never include your personal information. You keep ownership of what you submit, and you grant us the rights needed to operate the service with it.

8. Termination

You can delete your account at any time in Settings. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

9. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from reliance on study content, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. Material changes will be announced on the site or by email before they take effect. Questions: contact@email.hickshost.com.
