Tutor Platform

School Terms

Last updated October 3, 2026

Pilot draft. Schools sign a copy of this document with us before any student data is shared; contact us for the current version.

These terms apply when a ground school, flight school or business (“the School”) buys Tutor Platform for its students or staff. They add to our Terms of Service, which each student also accepts. If the two conflict on a School matter, these terms win.

1. What the School gets

2. Plans, passes and payment

3. AI allowance

Each student gets a daily number of AI requests (100 by default) and the School may have a monthly cap across all its students. When the cap is reached, students fall back to their own personal plan's allowance until the next month or until the School raises its cap.

4. Our promises to the School

5. The School's responsibilities

6. Data

The School owns its course content and its students' course data. We process it on the School's behalf under our Data Processing Agreement, using the providers on our subprocessor list. Each student also has their own Tutor Platform account, which they control under our Privacy Policy.

7. Ending

Either side can end these terms with 30 days' notice, or straight away if the other side materially breaches them. When the School's plan ends, we delete its course content, LMS connection, synced progress and quiz data, and its links to students within 30 days. Students keep their own Tutor Platform accounts and study history unless they delete them.

8. Liability

The service is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, each side's total liability under these terms is limited to the fees the School paid in the 12 months before the claim, and neither side is liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing limits liability that can't be limited by law.
